A Trained Dog is a Happy Dog!!
Basic obedience training provides a foundation from which your dog learns to
relate to you in many ways. Autumglo offers several training programs, which
include behavior counseling and the basic commands such as: sit, stay, down,
come,
and walking
on and
off leash.
When Should Training Begin?
Research shows that it is crucial for puppies to receive proper socialization
and obedience training in the third and fourth month if they are to mature
into confident, well-rounded adults. Undersocialized puppies grow into fearful
or aggressive dogs. Our kind, safe methods give your puppy a head start on
obedience and manners. Learn how to use positive motivation to shape the behavior
you desire.
Autumglo's Puppy Class and Pet Dog Class are each 6 weeks
long sessions. The cost is $80 per session. Class size is limited to
10 dogs each. For more information, or to register, please contact the
Autumglo Pet Lodge at (262) 692-9797.
Puppy Class
Autumglo's Puppy Class is designed for puppies that
are 16 weeks and younger at the start of class. This class will give
the
tools
necessary
to gain
a good
leadership role with
your puppy. This is a family oriented class. Children are welcome,
but must be 8 years or older to attend.
Pet Dog Class
Adult dogs (puppies 16 weeks or older) will benefit
from Autumglo's Pet Dog class. This class will cover sit, down, stay,
come, walking on a leash,
and your
leadership
role with
your dog. Dogs of any age are welcome and can
benefit from basic obedience training.
